I have a job that allows me to do whatever I want, when I was young like my brain was so convinced almost as if involuntary my mind was hellbent on having a job like this. I said if only I land a job this cushy I have nothing else in the world I need.
only to realize that it's so empty. There is no one I can talk to because I never talk to anyone face to face all my colleagues communicate with me by e-mail or text. I have not seen my boss since forever(but I receive Christmas cards)
What do you young people think now? Do you still want a job like mine in the future?

Nah my dream job is making video games in a country far away from here. However all that is a long ways off.

Well I'm hoping to become an artist so.. yea. I plan on my work being done alone. Not that I hate people, but it's easier to focus and stuff when I've got no one looking at me.

Nah my dream job is making video games in a country far away from here. However all that is a long ways off. It struck me a few days ago: if I'm dropping Japanese for Sign Language then if I end up drawing for games and am in Japan (since it's like games HQ) I'm screwed. Although I don't think I'd move TBH, I hate large changes. |

My autistic job gives me complete privacy sometimes the places I go feel ghost like. Like one day I would be in an office building at night where everyone already left and I'm looking over someone's shit on their desk. Just putting myself in their chair for a moment to see what they are seeing. Like imagining the family they have etc |

Doesn't sound too bad if you can find time to make friends cause you'd have more time and money (it sounds like) to spend with them.

Believe me Lily like one of my superior said to me for this job you're either on or off. It's turning me from slightly autistic to full blown retardation. After some years you change the so many days of actually not talking to people.(This is why I cling onto GD) Also I never really have any friends to begin with, maybe that's why I'm so awesome at this job I'm like a god in this field of work. By the way I honestly think that in my field of work the people that get taken in and mentored you have to look like this like the kid no one in high school likes.  I think I'm scaring the younger people here now lol by the way Lily you're the only one who really cares I love you. |
