to relive the rose-tinted ephemeral memories from turbulent formative times in our lives, like trying to catch smoke with our hands, failing every time, yet trying over and over, until this thing, like many others, fizzles out due to link rot and faded recollection. A footnote in the story of several dozen individuals, rarely being much more than just that, and yet, a place of familiarity and comfort, where one can come and wax philosophical about sweet nothings, because he just had a big lunch and is waiting in a league queue, itself a game played purely for the safe and comfy feeling of familiarity.

I reckon this forum will see sparse posting for years to come until freeforums.net comes and puts it (or itself) out of its misery, and that will be a sad day indeed.
