Life is good, thanks for asking Critkeeper. This thread is a great opportunity for me to share that every-day at work I think of you. Not out of fondness, although I do hold you in high regards, but I work at a call center. Every-time I suspect someone is going to get angry or loud on the other line my hand instinctually races toward the volume slider to move it down to a minimal level. My throat tightens, sweat oozes out of my palm, and my mind races back to the story you told, must of have been 8 or so years now, where you screamed into your mother's ear as loud as you could, and I'm terrified I will meet a similar fate. It's been a year now, and I'm considering therapy or looking for a new line of working as the torment of the possibility of hearing the shrill shrieks of a Tryn main bombastically blasting through my headset consumes most of my waking life. Hope you're doing well! |
