They could just tolerate her bitchiness to teach toleration and be her friend cause no one else will be or more likely because she's rich.

I know there are some MLP fans up in here. You can come out of hiding; it's not like being a weeaboo is any better. So my daughter and I were talking this morning over breakfast about how the show would be a lot better if Rarity wasn't in it. We also agreed that while Twilight Sparkle is an annoying character she really balances out the other ponies, and her naivete is an integral part of the show's premise; Twilight must puzzle out what to do in tough moral dilemmas to find the true meaning of friendship. Therefore Twilight has to stay. Unfortunately. Rarity on the other hand seems like an outlier. She's vain, she's selfish, she's self-absorbed. I suppose one could argue she serves as a lesson in the importance of being humble, but I don't think that's emphasized enough to matter because her character doesn't grow from that, she just falls back into her old selfish ways. She's the antithesis of what being a good friend means. All of the other ponies have redeeming qualities: Applejack possesses high work ethic, Rainbow Dash stands for athleticism / confidence, Fluttershy displays empathy towards others and respect for nature, Twilight strives for knowledge and personal growth. (Pinkie Pie serves as comic relief and comic relief only; I barely consider her a member of the Mane 6.) But after talking it over a bit, we concluded that Rarity does have one thing going for her, and that is her creativity. Her passion for fashion. Unfortunately her character is so horribly overdone it doesn't matter because she's a narcissistic b-word. The conclusion we came to is that rather than doing away with Rarity completely, her character could be improved if she was transformed into an oddball artist sort of character. The really quirky kind of artist, like one's you meet in Portland or Seattle. That way the character could keep her creative core, shed the vanity, and also support the importance of being yourself even if you're a little odd. Discuss! YES IT IS BETTER SHUT UP I WILL 1v1 YOU IN LEAGUE, WEEABOO BEST RACE ON GD. Also my sisters like it, I make sure to quickly leave the room when they start watching it but its in the living room and I want food sometimes... do they always sing in ever episode? I must ask this.. Also is this personification thing their own series or just some side thing? I was so confused when I saw the rainbow hair colors on one skill anorexic girl. Actually the singing is pretty rare; I would say less than half the episodes have singing. The songs are pretty short, too. Equestria girls is sort of a spinoff. It's okay, but Friendship is Magic is about a billion times better.

she's a narcissistic b-word. Well that's how most girls are now a days so it sounds like it's spot on.

I was never in a sorority and never took women's studies; I'm not sure it was even offered. I majored in English with lots of philosophy courses sprinkled in. I also got pretty into history, psychology, religious studies, and various art classes. I really stuck to the humanities for the most part. Women's studies is more of a social science, which isn't really my thing. History and anthropology were really interesting, but women's studies seems extremely pretentious and boring. Like you. ROFL MAJORING IN ENGLISH AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA all your minors also make me gag I bet you complain that men make more money than you too You probably work at HR or some entry level office bullshit God your baiting is so heavy-handed. You have absolutely no sense of tact or subtlety. Face had the same problem; he overdid everything and it was just cringe-inducing. I don't think you realize how few people take you seriously; you just aren't believable because you try so hard. You keep spewing the same MRA-inspired vitriol hoping to strike a nerve but what you don't understand is that nerves are very tiny things, and that requires a very precise instrument. You wield a claymore when you should be using a scalpel. Every premature conclusion you've ever tried to make about me in order to segue into your anti-woman trollposting has been false and just makes you look pathetic. Go read Einstein's tired aphorism about the definition of insanity. I just roll my eyes every time you post. You're way too predictable honey. Tone it down. Less is more and all that. But in order to postpone the day when you inevitably shoot up a school or something, I will play along and give you some attention. Someone has to think of the children. 1. My original aim was to be an English professor. This may strike you as odd, but English professors actually don't major in law or business or medicine or engineering. They major in English. Now if I had wanted to be a "language arts" (such an idiotic name) teacher in the K-12 program, I would have majored in education. But for a professorship one does not need to major in education unless they are teaching it. Professors major in what they teach, or at least a close facsimile of the subject. As for the minors, I studied what interested me. What were your majors / minors? Mathematics and sciences would be guess. 2. I have never complained that men make more money because I don't believe they do. If there's a wage gap, it's womankind's own fault for relying on other women instead of on themselves. If women are making less than men it's probably because they suck at negotiating their salaries; my wife is making 70k a year for a position that starts out paying 45k because she doesn't just smile and nod stupidly at whatever number her boss throws out when it's time for a raise; she makes sure she gets paid what she's worth and she doesn't back down until she gets it. Most women just take what they're given without question and then whine about being "oppressed by the patriarchy hurr-durr." Well no duh. If you let people oppress you, you're going to be oppressed. 3. I'm the manager of the photo lab at Walgreens. I have no aspirations to go into HR or corporate because I'm not really too concerned with how much money I make; my wife is the primary breadwinner and pays the bills. I only got a job in the first place to have my own pocket money and really just to prove I could. Plus I really like interacting with our customer base. Old people are freakin' adorable. I love them. There you go honey. Was it good for you? It was good for me. I need a cigarette now. I eagerly await your reply. Go wash your hands off first though so you don't get your keyboard all sticky.

Don't tell me! Don't tell me.... I know this one.... He was drinking apple juice and someone told him they were an Oakland Raiders fan. Right? Am I right? That armor is kinda cool, but it would look cooler if it was gold I think. I really love the styling of the helm / visor.

sorry for the late reply, fcking my wifs and taking care of my kids I literally just got done doing the same thing. This is a new level of awkward. Teachers don't become teachers for the money. I'm a hedonist. I do what I love. I love English and I love teaching. Women make less because they choose to make less. You're just affirming what I already said. As far as trade skills / getting one's hands dirty, my wife is a certified apprentice carpenter and has completed three of her four years required to become a journeyman. She lost interest in it as a career though and just makes furniture for us now.) How delightfully boring. I haven't had a cigarette in eight years, since before she was born, and she's very vocally opposed to my wife's smoking habit. A vast majority of studies also show that children reared in same-sex environments grow up perfectly normal. Like a LOT of studies.
