So, surprise surprise, the thread blocking plugin sucks massive cojones. Again.
I swear i'm gonna delete that downloaded one and just code the thing myself one of these days if this keeps up...
There's this particular issue that people have been encountering where they either don't see the checkboxes for thread blocking or they unblocked someone but their threads are still blocked.
So here's what people do:
Profile > Edit Profile > Privacy tab > do something
Here's what you oughta do:
Profile > Edit Profile > Privacy tab > Refresh/Reload > do something
Now you should be able to see the checkboxes and everything you do should be reflected in thread blocking as well.
If you have someone that you've unblocked but their threads are still being blocked, do this:
block him again > go to privacy settings > refresh the page > wait for the thread blocking checkboxes to appear > uncheck his box > save > unblock him from everything else > save
Nerd details:
This happens because the thread blocking plugin fires on page load, and only on page load checks which site you're on.
The problem is going from the Avatar tab to the Privacy tab doesn't reload the web page so it doesn't recheck if the tab changed, hence doesn't load checkboxes/events/etc.
That means that any changes you make in the Privacy tab without reloading won't reflect in the thread blocking plugin.
You may have unblocked someone like that, but that only applies to vanilla forum blocking - for thread blocking, they are still on the list.
